Persistent pelvic pain is a common clinical problem, affecting about 25 % of Australian adult women. This impacts not only the individuals but also on families, communities and national productivities. Despite extensive investigation, often including multiple laparoscopy, up to 55% of women do not receive a diagnosis and endure persistent symptoms. Dr. Sumi Saha has undertaken further Master's degree, at University of Sydney, to enhance her pain management knowledge.

Gynaecology & Pelvic Pain Management

Dr. Sumi Saha believes individualised patients care addressing unique patient’s requirements is the key to formulate gynaecological care plan for the patient.

Your initial consultations may take up to 45 minutes for taking a detailed medical and gynaecological history, clinical examination to formulate your care plan. If pelvic pain is your predominant symptoms, Dr. Saha may request you to fill out and bring the pelvic pain questionnaire for your initial consultation. This questionnaire helps us to manage your pain more holistic manner by addressing your bio-psycho-social requirements.

All the questionnaires are available in our website for your perusal. You may also require in office gynaecological procedures for example, colposcopy, vulvoscopy and endometrial sampling depending on your history and examination findings. Dr. Saha and her friendly team will explain and guide you through every step.
